About CEC

The Conservation Education Centre, Delhi was established jointly by the Department of Forests and Wildlife, Government of NCT of Delhi and the Bombay Natural History Society at the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. The Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose was signed on 18 June 2004. CEC was inaugurated on 15th February 2005. Since its establishment it has been actively involved in imparting conservation education among the masses. The main purpose of establishment of the CEC was to create awareness about the conservation of biodiversity through field based educational programmes.
